PRIVACY POLICY

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
    1. The Application is an information platform-digital application called BUYDO (hereinafter - the Application), through which BUYDO provides various types of services to its Users (see the Terms of Service).
    2. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, storage and use of personal information collected, stored and used by the Application.
    3. The owner of the Application and the data controller is SIA “BUYDO Group”, registration number 40203466176, legal address: Vienības gatve 109, Rīga, LV-1058, Latvia (hereinafter - BUYDO or Data Controller).
    4. We protect and care about the privacy and personal data of visitors to the Application. We undertake to respect your right to the lawful processing and protection of personal data and to comply with the applicable laws and regulations on the protection of personal data - the General Data Protection Regulation (GBER) and other laws and regulations, if applicable.
    5. This Privacy Policy provides information about how the Data Controller collects and processes the personal data of visitors to the Application.
    6. By accessing the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully agree to this Privacy Policy.
  2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
    1. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information is a combination of device information and order information.
    2. We collect, store and use the following automatically collected information, hereinafter referred to as device information:
      1. When you visit the Application, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, device model, screen size, time zone, geographic location, and certain cookies located on your device.
      2. In addition, as you browse the Application, we collect information about individual web pages or products you have viewed, which sites or search terms have taken you to the Application, and information about how you interact with the Application.

      3. Information on any transactions between you and the Data Controller (including order information);
      4. Any other information you wish to send us.
  3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
    1. We use the Information to:
      1. Location data is only collected when the Application is activated;
      2. Location data collection is stopped when you close the Application;
      3. We may use location information to resolve service quality issues;
      4. We use sender and recipient contact information to notify you of available updates to the Application;
      5. Customer support data is collected on a case-by-case basis and stored for dispute resolution and service quality issues;
      6. Contact you;
      7. Answer your questions;
      8. Check information regarding the risk of possible fraud or other irregularities;
      9. Provide information or advertising related to our products or services in accordance with your preferences.
    2. We use the information we collect about your device to help prevent potential risks and fraudulent attempts (particularly your IP address) and, more generally, to improve and optimize our Application, for example by generating analysis of how our customers browse and interact with the Application to evaluate the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns to provide the best possible visual and technical experience for your specific device model, screen size, and web browser).
  4. SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
    1. We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information as described above.
    2. Depending on your location, your personal data may be disclosed to BUYDO Group and partner companies (local subsidiaries, their representatives, business partners, agents, etc.). The processing of personal data of the BUYDO Group and partner companies is subject to the rules set out in this Privacy Policy.
    3. We also use Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel to help us understand how our customers use the App.
    4. We may also share your personal information in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to a subpoena or other lawful request for information, or otherwise protect our rights.
    5. Your information will not be disclosed to third parties except as described above and when we have obtained your express consent or where disclosure is required by law.
  5. CONDUCT ADVERTISING
    1. As described above, we use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertising or customized marketing offers that we believe may be of interest to you.   6. DO NOT TRACK
    1. Please note that we do not change our data collection and use practices when we see a do not track signal from your browser.
  7. YOUR RIGHTS
    1. If you are a European citizen, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request that your personal information be corrected, updated or deleted. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us by e-mail sales@buydo.com.
    2. In addition, if you are a European citizen, we consider that we process your information to fulfill any agreements we may have with you (for example, if you place an order through the Application) or to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. In addition, please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including the United States.
  8. DATA STORAGE
    1. Your personal information is stored in the AWS data centre located in the territory of Europe.
    2. Data collected for accounting purposes will be stored for 7 (seven) years after receiving the last service.
    3. In case of suspicion of a criminal offense, attempted fraud or provision of false information, the data will be stored for 10 (ten) years.
    4. In the event of a dispute, the data will be retained until the dispute is resolved or the claim expires.
    5. Please note that deleting the App from your device will not result in the deletion of your personal data.
    6. If the Application is not used for 3 (three) years, we will notify you and ask you to confirm whether the account is still active. If not, the account will be closed and personal data will be deleted, except where such data needs to be kept for accounting, dispute resolution or fraud prevention purposes.
  9. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA
    1. We strive to protect your personal information, so the Application is protected by appropriate means to protect information beyond our control, including loss, misuse or alteration.
    2. Although we apply security measures to protect confidential information and ensure adequate security, we do not warrant that the information posted on the Internet is secure or that such transmission will not be subject to delays, interference, interception or errors.
  10. LINKS TO OTHER SITES
    1. Please note that our privacy policy will not apply to other sites that you may access via a link from our Application.
  11. AMENDMENTS
    1. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes in our practices or other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
  12. MINORS
    1. The Application is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
