• These couplings have easier designs that sandwich a rubber buffer (nitrile rubber) between two hubs. The hub is lightweight, being product of aluminum alloy. The straight forward construction sandwiches a spider (rubber buffer) between hubs, so the coupling is definitely fastened or eliminated by shifting the device within the axial direction. Mounting on a shaft is easy. Simply hold a straight-edge to the hub periphery to middle it.One source of allure is that its simple construction capability lower cost.
