This kit involves 2 - 3&; strips, one for each aspect of the bed which are related collectively via a 65" piece of wire. Why 65"? Because then it's going to match as much as a queen size bed. Strips have 3M adhesive on them so they will stick to most clean, smooth, and dry surfaces. Typically this adhesive won't damage any surfaces. The strips have a small controller that it associated with the strips and a wall plug that connects to the controller. The controller is so small it may be connected to the lowest of the bed with the strips. Best section is you will get that may enable you manage it all. With the remote you may make a choice from 20 different colors and 19 modes adding flashing, fading, steady, and additional all from one mild kit! Kit comes solely assembled so all you need to do is role the strips and plug it in! Want to reuse the package as your baby grows and changes beds? Not a problem you may add Velcro to make the kit easy to remove or just add new double sided tape. (The adhesive on the strips is just nice for the first install.)
