The metal types ALWAYS pinch my eye skin area, which does hurt pretty bad sometimes so I didn't use them anymore. We've all done it right lol. I found this style in hopes it would eliminate that particular issue. I'm pleased to say that it didn't disappoint whatsoever. I rarely pinch myself anymore, only when I'm rushing etc. I have a new outlook on curlers again lol. What's also nice, is that I actually heat up the curling rubber area by running underneath hot water, pat it dry real quick and curl my lashes with a little heat. It really does works and last all day when I do it that way. Give this a try if your wanting that pinch problem solved.
