We had family stay a weekend w/us. My 16yr old gave up his room. And I wanted to make sure he still had a space that was comfortable to sleep in. We got a full Size floor mattress, and these two items were perfect together. The tent was dark inside, even when all the lights were on. It can get warm inside the tent, but you can open the windows by unzipping them which allows better air flow. My son is also very tall, but he had plenty of room, even sitting up. We hung a tent light in the center and this gave him plenty of light to read. As were setting up the tent (which was incredibly fast & easy), my dog found her way in and didn't want to leave. She loves hanging out in it too. Such a great purchase!
