Obagi Blue Radiance Peel is formulated with 20% salicylic acid to address wrinkles, uneven skin, blemishes, and mild photo aging. The superficial chemical peel exfoliates the skin for firmer, smoother, and brighter looking complexion.

• Apply a test application of peel solution on small area of skin before proceeding to large area. Apply small amount of moisturizer or petroleum jelly to protect sensitive areas such as the lips and the corners of the eyes. To ensure protection of the eyelid region, a piece of gauze can be placed to cover each eye.

• After cleansing, dispense 2-4 pumps of Prep Solution onto cotton ball or gauze, apply to entire face. Let skin dry completely. Then use a clean, folded gauze to apply the first layer of the Blue Peel Radiance. The patient may experience mild tinging for the duration of the application. For a very light peel, only apply 1 layer of product. For incremental desquamation of the stratum corneum, up to 2 layers are applied.

• Wait 30-60 seconds prior to second application to allow skin to tolerate first layer. If significant reactions (strong burning or stinging, significant discomfort, erythema) occur and do not subside after 3-5 minutes, do not apply second layer of peel. Allow peel to remain on skin for up to 10-12 minutes after first application. The peel should be removed by applying Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser with a sponge or gauze, and then rinsing with water.

• Following the use of this product, the patient must use a non-chemical sunscreen. Obagi Blue Radiance Peel Ingredients: SD Alcohol 40-B, Salicylic Acid, Ethoxdiglycol, Latic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Exract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Water (Aqua), Blue 1 (Cl 42090), Red 33 (Cl 17200).
