• Discover the 2023 wooden model of La Provençale, a traditional fishing boat of the French Riviera. With a typical Mediterranean line thanks to its two Latin sails, this boat used to be manufactured with the remains of the wood used for the construction of larger fishing boats. The bottom of La Provençale hull is flat, which allows you to reach the shore of the numerous beaches and coves of the wonderful region of which it is typical.

I purchased this kit as a Christmas gift for my dad, who happens to be an avid fan of both C. S. Forester and Patrick O'Brian, with a casual interest in British naval history. This is the first model kit that anyone in my family has purchased, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, especially because the descriptive blurb online (and the actual box itself) doesn't give many details.

If you have fond memories of building these kits 30-40 years ago, here's a great opportunity to share them with history-minded nephews, nieces or grandchildren. (Yes, there are some out there, whatever Revell USA thinks.) Professional packing and speedy shipping.
